Welcome to the online home of Oconee Area SHRM

We are a nonprofit association for human resource professionals. As an affiliated chapter of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), the Association offers the opportunity to interact with human resource peers and provide personal and professional growth opportunities. Knowledge increases your value as an HR professional and Oconee Area SHRM is here to provide you with the resources to stay in the forefront of your profession.

Membership in the Oconee Area SHRM is a recognizable symbol of your contribution and commitment to the human resource profession. By joining, you demonstrate your commitment to the profession and to your own continuing professional development. Oconee Area SHRM provides education and information services to professional members throughout Oconee County.

Lunch meetings are generally the 1st Thursday of each month. We have social interation, a nice meal and a relevant speaker covering a variety of topics.  Get to know your HR community though active participation in the Oconee chapter.
